Our Mission
Sessions
Workshop Session 1: Mental Health + The Mission of The Church
Discipleship is soul care. Soul care is discipleship. You can’t do one without the other. A bold conversation about how solid, biblical Christianity combined with contemporary, “sanctified psychology“ creates an explosive impact on our two-pronged mission to build God-loving followers and to effectively attract the lost and lonely people that surround us every day. A changed life is the most attractive force in sharing our faith. If we are not building disciples that are healthy from the inside out why are we surprised when the world around us doesn't want what we are offering? In this workshop we will discuss insights learned in the trenches helping people find grace for their race. You will explore and expand your “theory of human development” - how we develop as individuals, how God designed us to operate, what can go wrong, and how to fix it. When it comes to making disciples, soul care is the key!
Workshop Session 2: Managing Stress and Cultivating Resilience: Thriving in Ministry
Why are so many people in your church struggling with stress, anxiety, and depression? Why are so many Pastors in the church struggling with stress, anxiety, and depression? Don’t let stress win! God has designed your body and mind with the superpowers to overcome it. But Like any good superhero movie would show you, you have to understand how to control the superpower. Gain practical insights that go beyond the ordinary. Learn to understand the inner workings of your mind and body, gifts designed by God, to effectively combat the stressors that arise.
